The Strategy, International & Research (SIR) Directorate oversees and drives MSF’s strategic planning, transformation, international engagement, as well as research and analytics efforts to achieve MSF’s strategic outcomes.
As part of the Transformation Division (TF) in SIR, you will build and lead a team to drive MSF’s transformation efforts by partnering MSF Divisions, NCSS and its CLGs to co-develop innovative solutions to wicked problems.
Reporting to the Deputy Director (Co-Create Lab) of Transformation Division within SIR, you will work with other Branches within the Transformation Division to play a critical role in driving MSF’s transformation with the business units.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Co-Create Lab, a newly-setup innovation lab trained in Design Thinking, Behavioural Insights, Business Process Re-engineering, Service Journey Reviews, UX/UI, prototyping, programming and coding to provide in-house consultancy to drive transformation and innovation within the MSF-Family (including MSF, its statutory boards and CLGs). With the operationalisation of the Co-Create Lab, you will partner project teams within the MSF-Family to take on complex and/or cross-cutting projects and to co-create and test innovation solutions. As the Co-Create Lab is a new setup, you will also be required to support the Deputy Director (Co-Create Lab) to put in place structures and processes to operationalise the Lab. You will also need to work with third-party consultants, who will augment Co-Create Lab’s competencies by rendering guidance and support to the Lab. There will be opportunities to work with cross-cutting project teams from MSF Divisions, National Council of Social Service, KidSTART and SGEnable, to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Your job scope includes (but not limited to) the following:
• To accurately triage and diagnose problems surfaced by MSF-Family, and assist in the scoping of problem statements
• To support the design, identification and implementation of the approach/methodology to work on the problem statement
• To propose innovative solutions using methodologies such as Design Thinking, Behavioural Insights, Business Process Re-engineering, Service Journey Reviews as part of the process to solve problem statements
• To work with MSF-Family in the development and testing of prototypes for non-digital solutions
• To design and facilitate discussions with MSF-Family in the process of problem-solving, including organising workshops / focus groups, etc
• To run regular and ad-hoc clinic sessions for MSF-Family to seek guidance on problem statements
What we are looking for
We are looking for proactive team players who are both analytical and creative. You should have:
• At least 5 years of working experience in transformation work, with mastery of at least one or more of the following skillsets: Service / Strategic Design, Behavioural Insights, Business Process Re-engineering
• Experience in prototyping and development of minimum viable products are good-to-have
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage a wide spectrum of stakeholders (including external partners and cross-divisional teams) and lead them to achieve win-win outcomes.
• Keen interest in problem-solving and harnessing the collective intelligence of the team.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Strong project management and execution abilities
