As part of the Sectoral Transformation Group in IMDA, the SMEs Go Digital Division aims to make going digital simple for SMEs.
As part of the Programme Office, you will be formulating strategies by analysing data, to develop actionable insights and recommendations to enhance the impact of Government initiatives for SMEs.
You will need to think critically, have a good understanding the SME landscape to formulate points of view on current schemes. You will have the opportunity to analyse data, develop strategies, propose implementation approaches, and engage with senior stakeholders.
This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Work across multiple teams to undertake strategic reviews of ongoing initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and synthesize data, insights, and feedback to inform program reviews and strategic initiatives
- Develop and test hypotheses by analysing program data across multiple datasets, including key performance indicators, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement,
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate key findings, data-based recommendations, and strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives based on program review outcomes and analysis
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in business intelligence & analytics, strategy or business consulting
- Completed projects which required identification of gaps, development of key strategies and engagement with senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Methodical, structured, analytical, process oriented, organised and proactive self-starter.
- Good written and spoken communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge and proficiency with tools such as SQL, R, Python, Power BI or Tableau [Good to have]
