The Aviation Industry Division seeks to accelerate the development and transformation of Singapore’s air transport sector, to ensure its continued growth and competitiveness. You will play an important role in supporting industry-relevant initiatives to build a vibrant and sustainable aviation industry.
[What you will be working on]
You will be a member of the team responsible for managing and administering incentive schemes under the Aviation Development Fund (ADF). You will be involved in reviewing and ensuring that the governance framework and grant policies and procedures remain relevant, establishing and managing of grant administration system, verifying of claims and disbursing of funds. You will provide advice to project managers putting up proposals for grant award, from the perspective of governance, adherence to policies and procedures, and insights on best practices with regard to the administration of grants. You will also support periodic audits by CAAS Internal Audit and external auditors.
During the course of your work, where relevant, you will also have the opportunity to work with other CAAS divisions and industry stakeholders to manage innovation and capability development projects.
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
• Strong foundation in accountancy, business, finance, economics or other relevant disciplines
• 2 – 3 years of related experience in grant administration, audit and compliance
• Detail-oriented with ability to see big picture
• Resourceful, versatile and a good team player
• Good communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills
Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure in subsequent renewal
