What the role is
What you will be working on
You will work at Tuas South Incineration Plant as assistant engineering executive to ensure the safe and effective operation and maintenance of the mechanical equipment and systems in the plant. You will be responsible for the following:
To carry out daily maintenance of the assigned plant equipment
To ensure that daily job card and overhaul programmes are implemented
To attend to unscheduled outages of plant equipment
To carry out overhaul works as assigned by Engineers or Engineering Managers.
To carry out scheduled preventive maintenance
To carry out inspection of equipment after completion of work
To undertake projects assigned by Engineers / Engineering managers to improve the reliability, effectiveness and efficiency of the Plant's equipment and process.
To ensure all works are carried out in compliance with the relevant statutory safety requirements
What we are looking for
NITEC or Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering
Must be computer literate
Ability to work independently
A good team player with strong interpersonal skills
Good interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Organised and able to multi-task
Outgoing and pleasant personality
Mature, independent and resourceful
Highly self-motivated
Able and willing to work on weekends/public holidays and after office hours
