What the role is
What you will be working on
Reporting to the Senior Manager / Manager, you will be responsible to lead a team of executives and contractors for the management of buildings/facilities maintenance to support Authority’s operations and keep in check building compliance to government regulations.
Your roles include:
- oversee, monitor, and track contractors’ performance/KPI at IFMS Operation Command Centre (OCC).
- perform data analysis on real-time data collected by IOT sensors, OCC dashboards and smart energy meters deployed across various premises.
- identify potential utilities wastage and recommend continuous improvements.
- develop and implement policies and programme for Smart FM, OCC and energy management in meeting Green Plan / sustainability targets.
- prepare and present monthly progress of Smart FM and utilities utilisation/performance reports to Senior Management.
- ensure the day to day safe, effective, smooth, uninterrupted operation of LTA’s premises, ensure quality service level is maintained at all times and high availability of all equipment/systems/services.
- ensure all maintenance requests/ feedback / logistics requests are attended to timely in accordance with stipulated performance indicators.
- review, manage and supervise all term contracts to ensure performance, full compliances, and timely renewals to ensure continuity of service.
- assist with sustainability reporting and initiatives.
- ensuring office security, safety compliance and compliance to all regulatory and statutory compliances at all premises.
You are required to work with service vendors and M&E contractors to ensure that they perform to maintenance standards and schedule of works assigned as per contracts and provide value add service to the Authority.
Your job scope includes site inspections, cost analysis, budgeting, write and prepare work quotations/tender specifications, procurement of services, attend to feedback and ad-hoc decisions. You will also assist in Asset inventory control and monitoring.
You are required to take ownership of all related systems. You will constantly review work processes/procedures to enhance facilities operations and adoption of good industry practice and in compliant to the government IM and Business Contingency Plans.
In addition, you will assist in implementation of new initiatives (including smart FM technologies, sensors and IOT devices), assist to manage workplace smart office system and customer service-oriented support services including concierge services and logistic supports for offices and events, emergency operations and environment sustainability. Not limited to the above, you are also required to manage any other duties and tasks as required to meet Organisational Objectives as assigned at random, for e.g. specifications review/input for new build/improvement projects concerning facility management and operations.

What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualification in facilities management/engineering with at least 7 years of relevant experience (strong ACMV/mechanical background knowledge will have added advantage).
• Certified BCA Energy Auditors, Singapore Certified Energy Managers, etc. will have added advantage.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills are essential.
• Experience in data collection and analytic for smart FM technologies and preventive and predictive building maintenance work.
• Able to lead a team effectively with a successful track record in delivery of services.
• Technically sound with good knowledge of handling escalations, M&E maintenance work, soft and hard facilities management, vendor management and building regulation compliance
• Dynamic person and possess strong leadership skills and great team player.
• Able to attend to work on weekends and after hours when required.
