Your key responsibilities will include contributing and guiding a team to: i. Monitor and analyse global developments, and assess their implications on Singapore’s sustainability and environmental policies. ii. Formulate strategies and responses to advance Singapore’s international environment, water and food interests. iii. Represent Singapore at bilateral and multilateral platforms on environment, water, and food to advance and safeguard our interests. iv. Profile Singapore’s sustainability and environmental credentials at international meetings to showcase thought-leadership and create mindshare. v. Plan and support the participation of Singapore’s political office holders and senior officials at high-level international meetings. vi. Facilitate and curate visits by foreign VIPs. vii. Enhance ties and cooperation with international partners.

i. Strong interest in sustainability and environmental issues. ii. Tertiary qualifications with 6 - 10 years of working experience. iii. Strong writing, communication and analytical skills, including ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner to different audiences; iv. Resilient in working in a fast-paced environment, including ability to adapt to changing situations and circumstances; v. Possess initiative, problem solving skills and able to work independently; vi. Willingness to travel; and vii. Readiness to help the team troubleshoot and address challenges, and assume higher leadership roles and appointments.
