MTI’s Energy Partnerships Division is responsible for formulating Singapore’s energy policies and strategies, together with the Energy Market Authority, other Government agencies, academics, and private sector stakeholders. This includes developing and maintaining competitive energy markets, driving the development and deployment of solar and alternative sources of energy, and promoting international and regional cooperation.
The Energy Partnership and International Cooperation team within the Energy Division takes the lead in (i) driving Singapore’s efforts to import renewable energy from the region;
(ii) building energy collaborations at the bilateral and plurilateral levels; and (iii) advocating for an inclusive global energy architecture at multilateral fora.

What the role is
What you will be working on
We are looking for officer who (i) thrive working in a dynamic environment; and (ii) is adept working with multiple stakeholders and across organisational boundaries. Specifically, you will provide administrative support in the following areas:
• Provide comprehensive and seamless administrative support to the Division including security clearance for external visitors/meeting attendees, booking of venues for meetings , putting up approvals for trips and assists in coordinating trips for the team.
• Assist in putting up approvals for the payment of International Organisations annual membership fee.
• Provide financial support to the division e.g. processing of invoices, tracking of cashflow and budget utilisations. This also involves in checking and tracking of ESI’s reimbursements as well as putting up concurrence approval for the fund to be disbursed.
• Support div’s Knowledge Management by ensuring that officers adhere to the organisation’s guidelines and facilitate retrieval of documentations and information.

• Proficient with Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Comfortable with data entry, computation and analysis
