What the role is
What you will be working on
1. Develop machine vision & automated inspection system technologies/solutions that contribute to strengthening NYP's industry capability.
2. Collaborate with industries and lead industry projects.
What we are looking for
• Software development skills in C/C++, C#, CUDA or Python.
• Experience with LINUX or MS Windows.
• Experience with computer vision & Visual AI.
• Familiarity with OpenCV, AI framework such as tensorflow or Pytorch, & Nvidia GPU platform.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
Autonomous robot, computer or machine vision, LIDAR/point-cloud processing, object tracking, sensor fusion, visual perception, robot guidance and deep learning.
• Relevant qualifications in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Computer engineering.
• Experience in Intel Multi-processor, Nvidia GPU, embedded microcontroller
• Possess good analytical skills, innovative and proven success in solving problems encountered in projects relevant to intelligent IoT-based camera, machine vision / automated inspection and autonomous systems.
