What the role is

Job Description

As part of the Sectoral Transformation Group in IMDA, the SMEs Go Digital (SMEGD) Division aims to help SMEs adopt digital technologies and build stronger digital capabilities to seize growth opportunities in the digital economy. With digital technology transforming every sector of Singapore’s economy, it is essential that our SMEs make the most of digital technologies to improve operations and generate new revenue for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow portfolio of partners for the SMEs Go Digital programme

  • Design and deliver partnership strategies from stakeholder mapping, lead generation to Partnership acquisition

  • Develop, design and deliver 3P Partnership initiatives in support of SMEGD priorities and focus areas

  • Lead engagements with key stakeholders to navigate and achieve shared desired outcomes

  • Raise brand equity and awareness of Partnership Initiatives

  • Understand SME ecosystem, SME data and market research to identify opportunities for partnerships

  • Monitor performance of partnerships

  • Strong collaboration and project management with eco-system of partnership stakeholders to ensure delivery of projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Arts & Social Sciences or Business Administration

  • Minimum 5 years’ of relevant working experience in Business Development, Consumer Marketing, Partnership development and/or program management

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to understand the ‘big picture’ and to develop/align partnership plans to effect positive outcomes

  • Good understanding of technology and digitalisation, with track record in developing and implementing partnership programmes.

  • Good people engagement and Partnership relationship management skills

  • Good written and spoken communication, presentation skills to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation

  • Resourceful and Creative - able to think out of the box to develop partnerships for reaching out to the different SME target segments.

This position will commensurate with experience.
