The Partnership and Engagement Development (PED) team drives the development of public sector capabilities, as well as plan and coordinate Whole-of-Government (WOG) public engagement and partnership efforts. You will be part of a team which guides government agencies to develop and implement partnership and engagement strategies and programmes, including workforce development, PE competencies, training and development. You will contribute to building organisational capabilities across the whole-of-government, and will have opportunities to contribute to data-driven engagement with MCCY’s stakeholders, and strengthen public trust in our institutions.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will have the opportunity to shape the policies and processes to develop WOG partnership and engagement initiatives.
• Identify and develop policies, strategies and programmes to develop and promote partnership & engagement
• Develop and implement data-driven PE strategy to guide WOG efforts
• Develop and implement PE frameworks in line with the WOG PE strategy, in areas such as strategic planning for PE, workforce development, stakeholder mapping, PE competency framework, partnership development, impact evaluation, and digital engagement
• Explore new methods and tools to enhance capabilities for delivery of internal and external partnerships and engagement
• Collect and analyse stakeholder sentiments to identify emerging issues, and provide insights to inform partnership and engagements initiatives based on research on sentiments and data analytics
• Develop indicators to evaluate the impact of partnership & engagement efforts using both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and propose ideas or perspectives to address gaps
• Track progress and development of WOG PE strategy e.g. via PE Blueprint and Evaluation Tool
• Support government-wide and ministry-wide committees to strengthen WOG stakeholder partnerships and engagement
What we are looking for
• Relevant experience in market or social sciences research or business analytics would be an advantage
• Excellent writing, communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
• High level of initiative and willingness to learn
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes well
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently as well as in teams
• Ability to manage and conduct analysis through open-source statistical software (Python, R) would be useful
