DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, DIGITAL
As part of the Infrastructure Information Development & Digitalisation Division that drives LTA’s strategic initiative toward a digital organisation via digitalization of all infrastructure development projects. This division develop strategies and programmes to drive the digital transformation to shift mindset of internal and interfacing stakeholders within the infrastructure industry through adoption of BIM processes and work within the digital environment.
You will be involved in the implementation of a holistic data eco-system to support the Infrastructure development digitalisation to house Confidential Cloud-eligible classification and Restricted data. You will have to ensure the digital environment supports digital engineering project delivery and complies with the ISO 19650 information management processes. You have to drive and oversee the information management data standards development, governance and administration of the data environment, including project information amalgamation with GIS implementation.
Your core responsibilities are:
- Work with internal groups to identify the respective BIM requirements for Road or Rail, green / brown field / renewal projects and to align with LTA’s overall digitalisation strategy developed.
- Plan and organize engagement strategy and programmes to permeate BIM and digitalisation efforts within the organisation and industry. This will include being actively involved in change management efforts to promote and shape adoption on BIM processes, ISO19650 standards, Inter-operability, LTA’s taxonomy, InSIGHT digital ecosystem.
- Horizontal scanning and keep abreast of the technology, tools and applications that could potentially improve the organisation’s project delivery productivity or manpower efficiency.
- There will also be opportunities to lead and facilitate prototype studies on these new technology implementations through prototyping or Proof of Concept etc.
- Involve in process re-engineering to develop, review, update and maintain new digital process that would leverage on LTA’s InSIGHT platform to improve project management information management, and model geometry & model content information checks application.
- Includes administration support for the division.
[What we are looking for]
• Tertiary qualification in relevant engineering discipline, such as Civil & Structure / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related engineering qualification.
• Preferably, Certification in any tier of Digital Delivery Management (DDM)
• At least 3 years of experience in construction, manufacturing or technology related industry
• Preferably with experience in Digital Engineering processes (e.g. VDC) and knowledge in delivering building and infrastructure projects
• Preferably with experience in delivering infrastructure projects and familiar with the delivery processes in the capacity of a project team, consultant or contractor.
• Knowledgeable in BIM practices, Standards, ISO19650, IFC4.X, Uniclass and COBie
• Good interpersonal skills with good presentation, communication and written skills.
• Highly adaptable team player who can work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; self-motivated to achieve work excellence
• Would be advantageous if the candidate is a trained facilitator
