What the role is

As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in engaging stakeholders and industry players to translate business needs into data analyses projects, develop data product strategy, and to bridge the gap in terms of data needs and business understanding.

What you will be working on

• Engage stakeholders and industry players to translate business needs into data analyses projects, develop data product strategy, and to bridge the gap in terms of data needs and business understanding • Manage the systems and processes to collect, store, and process data from variety of data sources • Develop, enhance and automate data pipeline, including data ingestion, data cleansing and data analysis for sense making and insight discovery • Research and adopt new algorithms and analytic techniques to improve insight quality

What we are looking for

• Possess Knowledge/experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics or a related field • 2+ years of experience with ETL, data modelling, data mining, statistics and data analysis, algorithm development and software development (using languages such as Python, R, SQL, UNIX/Linux scripting) • Good listening and communications skills, is a good team player and have the ability to partner with others within and outside the organisation to deliver the desired project outcome
