What the role is

As a Product Manager you will oversee the entire product lifecycle of our digital products, from planning to execution. You will work closely with stakeholders and across teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products that align with business objectives and customer needs.

What you will be working on

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle of assigned digital products, from planning to execution. • Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and improve existing products. • Develop and maintain a vision and product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer needs. • Work closely with stakeholders and across teams to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. • Oversee product design and development including setting time frames and clear deliverables. • Implement product roll out and communication plan and provide support throughout the product life cycle including reviews where needed. • Lead and manage project team members throughout the product life cycle to ensure that product goals are accomplished on schedule, within budget, and in line with business objectives. • Conduct procurement activities such as tenders and requests for proposals to obtain solutions and services for the delivery of the product, where applicable. • Review proposals or plans (internal or provided by external service provider) to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available departmental resources to various project phases • Conduct risk assessment and mitigation and ensure compliance with government and DOS policies, risk management, implementation, change management and system performance • Establish standards and procedures for reporting and documentation. • Continuously benchmark team product performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity. • Lead and manage a team of support personnel to provide ongoing run-and-maintenance of IT systems.

What we are looking for

• Possess Knowledge/experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field. • At least 2-3 years of experience in product management working with various business units to launch and manage complex products. • Strong knowledge of product management methodology and experience, or familiarity with major frameworks implementing Agile principles, e.g. Scrum. Product or Project Management Professional training and certification will be an added advantage, e.g. PMP, Prince 2, Figma. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken; including ability and experience in influencing, engaging and managing stakeholders across all levels of seniority internally and externally. • Possess a driven, self-motivated, and positive attitude, excellent work ethic and is a team player. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated ability to lead and build high-performing product teams.
