The officer will be part of a dynamic team who carries out communications and engagement functions to ensure effective and timely communications of MOF’s policies and initiatives.
He/she will co-develop and implement effective integrated communications and engagement strategies including social media strategies and digital marcoms.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Develop and implement strategic communication plans across communications and engagement platforms. These include social media, issues management and media management.
• Be part of a team to strategise and grow MOF digital media assets (include MOF corporate social media accounts).
• Conceptualise, write and copy-edit publicity materials.
• Transform technical/complex information into compelling concepts/stories and scripts for publicity materials including videos, animation and graphic designs
• Some basic hands-on design of visual contents
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualification in mass communication or related fields
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in a similar field
• Strong interest/experience in social media
• Keen interest in national and public policy issues
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and a good team player
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment and with tight deadlines
• Basic social media content production skills such as graphics is a bonus
