What the role is
What you will be working on
This role involves applying data science/AI to transform employment market practices and improve the lives of employers, employees and fellow MOM officers.
The candidate will work with multiple stakeholders across MOM departments and GovTech to design, implement and manage a variety of data science/AI solutions.
What we are looking for
Knowledge in Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Social Science, or related disciplines, with experience in:
• Machine learning and statistical techniques with expertise in at least 1 domain (text mining, graph mining, reinforcement learning, time series mining, optimisation)
• Analytical tools such as R and Python
• Visual analytics technologies like Tableau
• Data manipulation using scripting languages
• Identifying analytics opportunities to solve business problems
• Presenting technical concepts and results of technical analyses to non-technical audience in a concise manner
• Project management of technical initiatives
Related experiences will be an added advantage:
• ML Ops, DevOps or software engineering
• Data management, data warehousing, data engineering
• Digital transformation
