What the role is

To promote, grow and sustain Courses and Interest Groups as a means to build a vibrant community and increase social capital.

Programmes, Courses & Interest Group Development

a) Manage the Sports portfolio & actively reach out to new partners, engage new/existing partners/networks, study industry and market trends/practices and practices to recommend new course guidelines and implement the course guidelines and practices to achieve professional and high quality standards in the management of Trainers/Private Operators.

b) Course curation with Trainers/Private Operators and partners to develop new courses and programmes & repackage existing courses at the CCs/RCs/RNs/NCs, and assist the team to develop, promote and implement national level initiatives and programmes to reach out to the hard-to-reach target segments

c) Identify relevant government departments, community and corporate organisations and collaborate with them as partners to expand and support outreach to residents through courses and interest groups

d) Develop, promote and grow strong interest group communities

e) Leverage on social media to promote the courses and interest group communities under his or her purview to residents

f) Spearhead various projects and high point events to promote and showcase courses and interest groups

Other Duties

• Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties

• Perform other duties as and when assigned by senior officers

Knowledge & Skills

Minimum

Demonstrated strong leadership and possess relevant co-curricular activities and voluntary work experience.

Desired -     

At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in driving programmes for targeted segments (eg, working professionals, minorities, young families, seniors) or developing and managing courses and interest groups

Strong written and oral communications skills

Shows competencies in preparation of slides & strong presentation skills

Shows creativity and innovativeness in implementing new initiatives

Possess knowledge and skills in social media platforms

Willing to work on several weekends and weeknights

This person should be self-driven, resourceful and passionate about meeting and working with people

He or She should have strong organisational and communication skills and have demonstrated experience in project and/or event management

Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
Successful candidates will be given a 3-year contract.
