What the role is
What you will be working on
As a Security Assessment Analyst, you will undertake one or more of the following:
- Perform analytical processing of cases to identify pertinent security risks, articulate key issues of security concern and work with relevant stakeholders to develop sound approaches to pre-empt and neutralise threats to Singapore
- Management of intelligence databases
- Support intelligence collection and operational interventions
- Develop policy frameworks to safeguard Singapore's security and national interests
What we are looking for
- Degree in any discipline or equivalent competencies
- A keen interest in geo-political affairs and social issues
- Self-driven, motivated, curious and inquisitive individual
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable working with voluminous information and at a fast pace
- Ability to write and present information/assessments clearly and succinctly
- Good problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to learn new knowledge and skills in a complex and dynamic operating environment
- Competency in digital tools and data analytics would be advantageous
