What the role is

You will leverage online open source platforms to collate and analyse relevant information on geopolitical developments globally to produce relevant analytical reports that will support SID's missions.

What you will be working on

• Monitor and analyse relevant geopolitical information that can be found in online open source platforms, such as social media and the internet • Explore the use of a variety of software tools to aid the comprehensive gathering of relevant information. Produce timely and accurate insight reports that support SID's missions If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to: • Provide operational leadership for the team • Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind • Contribute to the planning and guidance for the Section's professional growth, in both general and technical areas • Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders • Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: • Enhanced analytical skills in an intelligence context, covering a wide range of geopolitical topics • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • A deeper understanding of global current affairs and their impact on SID's missions
