The Registry of Trade Unions and Platform Work Associations (“Registry”) ensures the administration of responsible trade unions and platform work associations (“PWAs”) to promote industrial harmony and provide a favourable business and work environment for economic growth and social progress in Singapore.

What you will be working on

You will assist the department to administer the PWAs and ensure its activities are conducted in a lawful, fair and democratic manner. Your functions and duties include the following: • Draft and implement sound platform work association guidelines and standard operating procedures in accordance with the law; • Review the relevant legislations and policies that contribute to responsible PWA practices; • Establish and sustain good relations with PWAs to build mutual trust and tripartite relations; • Manage PWA records to ensure data accuracy in the Registry and perform data analysis for various statistical reports; • Enhance information technology systems to ensure the Registry’s operational efficiency; • Any other assigned tasks related to Registry’s functions.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualification in any discipline; • Professional certification in accountancy or law or basic knowledge of accountancy or legal principles would be an advantage; • Experience in policy, legal, compliance, regulatory, investigation or audit work is preferred; • The ability to write clearly and reason compellingly; • Be analytical, independent and self-motivated.
