What the role is

The Leadership Development & Strategy (LDS) Cluster oversees Leadership and Talent Development at the Public Service level, to achieve the following key outcomes: 1. Effective and High-Performing Leaders & Leadership Teams who deliver with excellence today and innovate for tomorrow. 2. Leadership Corps with Greater Diversity in experiences, skillsets & perspectives. 3. One Public Service Leadership with a common purpose, identity and values. You will be part of the team responsible for building leadership culture through a close partnership arrangement with an external organisation that supports leadership development in the Public Service. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who values integrity and teamwork, and who takes pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service. This role requires a high level of autonomy, meticulousness and an ability to navigate ambiguity, while supporting process automation and innovation within the external organisation. What you will be working on

[Key Responsibilities]: • Strategic process automation: Support the team in the development and implementation of automated systems for personnel management, claims processing and administrative workflows. Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining operations to improve operations for the leadership network. • Database Management, Optimisation and Governance: Manage personnel and payment-related databases to ensure records are accurate and up to date. Support the team in making continuous improvement to databases, ensuring data integrity, compliance and optimisation, and improving functionality and reducing manual effort. • Claims and Payment Administration: Administer and process claims in an accurate and timely manner. • Event Coordination and Communications: Assist in scheduling and coordinating events, meetings, and other engagements, and providing on-site support during events, meetings and other engagements. • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point-of-contact to address and follow up on queries and requests from internal and external stakeholders, on issues such as personnel information, claims and payment administration.

What we are looking for

An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies: • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management or a related field. • Experience in public service, especially in financial administration and logistic/events management, is especially valued. • [Administrative Management] Strong data management skills and organisational skills. Ability to excel in planning, prioritising and executing diverse administrative and business support tasks based on complexity and urgency. Excellent attention to detail. • [Working Effectively with Stakeholders] Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders to understand their issues, identify gaps and communicate solutions to stakeholders effectively. You should possess good written and oral communication skills as well as documentation skills. • [Improving and Innovating Continuously] Ability to identify work processes that can be automated or simplified and support the implementation of solutions
