You will be part of the Active Ageing (AA) team in the Ageing Planning Office to define, plan and execute whole-of-government and national strategies in response to the needs of Singapore’s ageing population.

What the role is
What you will be working on
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be involved in key initiatives and priorities of the Active Ageing team:
- Develop, review and implement policies for Active Ageing Programmes (AAPs) to support seniors to stay active and healthy. Examples of AAPs include exercise, functional screening, senior learning and senior volunteerism.
- Develop, review and implement policies for key age-related conditions (e.g. dementia, frailty).
- Leverage research and innovation to transform the experience of ageing (e.g. National Innovation Challenge on Active and Confident Ageing).
What we are looking for
Requirements:
• Tertiary education in any discipline.
• Preferably at least 3-4 years of relevant experience and knowledge in areas such as policy formulation, project management, research strategy and operationalising and implementing programmes.
• Passion for working with citizens, including seniors and community partners.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Highly driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and dynamic work environment which requires critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
