What the role is
What you will be working on
- Conduct material requirement planning and ensure spares availability to meet operational and readiness requirements
- Manage period contracts and review inventory profile of materials and spares
- Oversee and optimise related finance budgets
- Formulate, review and validate business process design, existing material policies and procedures
- Plan and control the budget allocated for operational expenditure, ensuring cost-effective spending
- Develop and enhance skill sets and competency of staff
Challenge(s)
- Having the ability to see the strategic picture of the supply chain management processes
- Continuously engage all agencies involved in the procurement process
- Managing big data and utilise data visualisation tools effectively
What we are looking for
- Inquisitive mind with an aptitude to challenge the status quo
- Good command of English, both speaking and writing
- Comfortable with managing big data
- Proficiency in Data Visualisation Tools such as QlikSense is advantageous
