What the role is
What you will be working on
You will monitor, review and implement policies and schemes:
• To meet the housing needs of low-income families and vulnerable groups (e.g. single parents), including guidelines for appeals;
• On public rental housing, to ensure it remains an accessible and affordable safety net for those without other housing options, and work with social agencies to help tenants eventually progress to homeownership;
• To expand the housing options for seniors, including working with other infrastructure and social agencies to explore new housing-with-care models; and
• On the management of arrears, including collaboration with other agencies to improve social intervention and assistance for needy families.
