What the role is

Senior Manager/ Manager (Aerodrome Regulation)

Responsibilities
As part of a dynamic team, you will play an instrumental role in the safety oversight of aerodrome development and operations in Singapore. You will also ensure that our airports meet or surpass international safety standards. You will work closely with partners in the aviation industry. You will also have opportunities to participate in regional and international meetings and conferences where you may be required to share your expertise.

What you will be working on

You are required to review and enhance:
-Aerodrome related regulatory frameworks, regulations, and safety policies to be in line with international safety standards and best practices.
-Regulatory and internal processes / procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency; and training road maps as well as conduct in-house training where necessary.
-You will conduct safety audits and inspections of Changi and Seletar airports to ensure airport operational safety. You will also investigate potential regulatory infringements and pursue enforcement action where necessary.

What we are looking for

Requirements
-Background in Engineering or related disciplines
-Experience in a safety regulatory role.
-Conversant in ICAO Annex 14 and related regulations, international best practices, and safety management systems.
-Self-motivated, driven, assertive and analytical.
-Good people management as well as planning and organisational skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The following would be advantageous for applicants:
-ISO (or equivalent) auditor qualification
-Relevant experience in airside operations and maintenance
-Experience in aerodrome accident/incident investigation.
-Experience in rescue and firefighting.

Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
