What the role is
What you will be working on
We are looking for a committed individual to perform routine tasks and to support the planning and execution of various activities, especially in production process improvements and in experiments. Training will be provided. The outcomes are expected to contribute towards innovations and enhancing work efficiencies, which will in turn help improve public health.
What we are looking for
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
- Able to systematically perform routine workflow correctly with an eye for details
- Able to handle live mosquitoes
- Able to work after office-hours, weekends and public holidays, on occasions
- Interest in continuous process improvements and innovations
- Self-driven and able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced working environment
- Physically fit to perform manual works
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in fields of environmental science, engineering or life sciences will be advantageous
- Experience and skills in handling tools and equipment will be advantageous
- Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office will be advantageous
- Experience working in a laboratory or insectary setting will be advantageous
