What the role is

You will be part of a dynamic HR team in MOM, under the Rewards and Performance Management team, focusing on performance management and appraisal; conduct and discipline; and compensation and benefits.

What you will be working on

You will lead a team to oversee the review and implementation of rewards and recognition guidelines and processes in the following key areas: • Compensation eg. Salary reviews, allowances • Bonus payments eg. Performance bonus, mid/end of year payments • Benefits eg. Leave, medical, transport • Awards eg. National Day Awards, Long Service Award As part of the HR team, you will also take on various HR projects to help the Ministry to identify, develop and reward officers’ contributions and performance.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary Qualifications and IHRP certification is a plus • At least 8 years of relevant work experience • An understanding of the workings and work processes of the Civil and Public Service, is advantageous. • Proficient in Excel, and comfortable with managing IT systems • Other key attributes: i. Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills ii. Meticulous with an eye for detail iii. Highly logical with strong analytical skills iv. Team player, able to work well with internal and external stakeholders
