What the role is
What you will be working on
To support administrative and procurement operations and functions for MPA. This includes providing support/advice to line departments on administrative work and also manage work related to staff passes, staff welfare initiatives via WOG Demand Aggregation contracts and vending machines, gift declarations from officers, management of centralised office supplies eg. stationery, pantry and sundry items, coordination of application/termination of all telephone lines in MPA, subscription/renewal of all local and foreign newspapers and magazines/periodicals, and green initiatives like Eco-office re-certification. The role includes procurement work such as review of requirement specifications and evaluation/award papers submitted by line departments for approval. Other responsibilities include performing data analytics, assisting and supporting various systems related to administrative and procurement work, and preparation of management reports based on administrative and procurement data. You will also assist the Managers and Head of Dept in admin-related and procurement-related projects and other work areas.
What we are looking for
Support, manage and process procurement of admin-related items for the dept and MPA
Support and execute appropriate sourcing approaches, tendering, evaluation and contracting for goods and services in compliance with Government Instruction Manual, Procurement policies guidelines and processes within stipulated timeline.
Provide guidance to and communicate with the line departments to ensure compliance with Govt IM on office administration and procurement.
Undertake data analytics based on administrative and procurement data.
Generate management reports related to administrative and procurement work.
