What the role is
What you will be working on
• Curriculum development, course delivery and student project supervision in the areas of large mobility and robotic engineering systems. This includes, but restricted to, advanced robotic systems such as Industrial Internet of things (IIoT) and urban land transport solutions such as Electric Vehicle (EV) and Rail Operation and Management.
• Develop and conduct Continuing Education and Training (CET) lessons
• Spearhead and identify new opportunities, initiatives and collaborations with industry
• Undertake project development or consultancy with industry
• Undertake other administrative work related to the programme
• Undertake student development activities
• Mentor and motivate students in their learning journey
What we are looking for
• Qualification in electrical / electronic / mechatronic engineering or a related discipline, preferably with a minimum of 1 year of experience in areas of robotics, automation systems or urban land transport solution vehicle technology such as rail operations and management, EV and Autonomous Vehicle (AV)
• Possess excellent initiative, good multi-tasking skills with a strong sense of responsibility for completing assigned duties on time
• Ability to work independently, as well as being an excellent team player
• Hands-on experience in Industry 4.0 deployment, IIoT applications development, collaborative robot and mobile robot system design and deployment would be an added advantage
