What the role is

Project Title: Bringing data to life with visualization Project Overview: The department conducts several national surveys to gather labor market indicators. Given the substantial data collected, effective validation and consistency checks are essential to maintain data quality. Learning Outcomes: • Prepare reports to communicate insights to stakeholders. • Understand the process and appreciate the importance of data validation and consistency checks in national surveys. • Apply R and Python coding to validate and check real-life data. • Apply visualization techniques using Tableau and/or Power BI.

What you will be working on

The intern will support MRSD’s Data Quality Team to: • Analyse data to discover patterns and spot anomalies and prepare reports to communicate insights to stakeholders. • Develop and run codes in R and/or Python to perform effective and timely validation and consistency checks on data collected. • Generate Tableau reports for the tracking of key indicators. • Automate workflows using R and/or Python.
