Your responsibilities will include:

• In-depth analysis and knowledge of the manufacturing sector, by sector, firm archetype and job outcome. 

• Conduct gap analysis and needs assessment in partnership with teams in EDB and external partners (MTI, Enterprise SG, A*STAR) to enhance product offerings for manufacturing companies. 

• Develop communication lines for EDB/ WOG stakeholders and intended customer segments in line with EDB’s manufacturing strategy.  

• Domestically, profile manufacturing to the public. Internationally, build mindshare of Singapore as an advanced manufacturing location.

To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

• At least 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience in a strategy, policy, research, industry development or relevant industry role 

• Knowledge and interest in manufacturing 

• Excellent research and analysis skills, able to formulate research plan, define hypothesis, and to define and secure required datasets, expertise and partners

• Demonstrate keen sense of business acumen, ability to adapt and react quickly to changes in priorities 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken; including ability and experience in engaging and managing stakeholders across all levels of seniority internally and externally
