Senior/Assistant Director, Research and Analysis (SCERD)

Be part of a team under Supply Chain & Economic Resilience Division (SCERD) undertaking research and analysis projects supporting the development of strategies and plans to keep Singapore’s economy and supply chains resilient.

Conduct impact analysis of significant natural and man-made global events to Singapore’s supply chains and economy. Research and translate into insights historical and contemporary levers of economic influence employed by global actors. Engage in collaborative scenario planning and formulate response and resilience plans against potential threats and crises. Develop framework to assess the risk of economic changes by synthesising information and data from multiple sources.

• Ability to translate knowledge and insights into practical frameworks, strategies, policies and plans • Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis • Able to work independently and proactively, especially in sourcing relevant data. • Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills • Resourceful in problem solving and ability to influence stakeholders • Preferably with a keen interest in current affairs, especially in relation to global economic and security developments
