What the role is

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data related to Singapore port operations. This role is crucial in ensuring data-driven decision-making processes and supporting the development of the digital twin model.

What you will be working on

  • Collect and analyse data related to Singapore port operations.

  • Identify relevant data sources required for Digital Twin and ensure data quality and accuracy.

  • Develop data models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights from the collected data.

  • Collaborate with other team members to establish data-driven decision-making processes.

  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders through reports and presentations.

  • Continuously monitor and assess Digital Twin data quality and recommend improvements.

What we are looking for

  • Background in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or related fields.

  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in data analysis. Knowledge in GIS software and modelling is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in algorithms, data analysis, simulation and/or modelling tools such as Python, R, SQL, etc.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent appointment.
