What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Financial Planning team responsible to ensure governance and controls for Rail related initiatives/schemes as well as budgeting and funding matters.
Your roles are as follows:
a) Provide financial and funding advisory to LTA Groups, to enhance quality of funding proposals for Rail related initiatives/schemes (e.g. suggesting best practices and cost optimisation opportunities).
b) Run operations relating to the Railway Sinking Fund and annual reporting of Fund status to senior management.
c) Prioritise funding proposals across LTA and monitor their statuses for reporting to senior management.
d) Partner LTA Groups and contribute to the governance, analysis, and reporting of Rail related initiatives/schemes’ budgets and mid-term expenditure projections.
e) Contribute to the drive for continuous improvements by proposing digitalisation initiatives to streamline existing business processes

What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualification, preferably Bachelor of Accountancy/Business Administration/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications
• Preferably 2 or more years of relevant working experience
• Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment and internal controls
• Good analytical skills, resourceful, meticulous and a team player
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact across different internal and external stakeholders
• Data analytics knowledge will be an advantage
