As a Sr Engineer / Engineer in the Water Systems Department (WSD), Planning & Capability Development Division, you will be part of a team to lead the development of engineering models to plan and guide the design and construction of systems to enhance integrated water resource management and undertake related R&D projects.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following areas in: Capability Development Branch • Manage R&D project cycle that will include project planning, contract administration (including tender calling and awarding) and supervision. • Assist to carry out analysis, prepare reports and present recommendations to management. • Keep abreast of technological advances in integrated water resource management. • Collaborate with internal divisions within PUB, external government agencies, academia, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful execution of project. • Any other duties as assigned. Planning Branch • Strategic Planning: Assist in the development of master plans to support timely project implementation. • Technical Planning: Review drainage systems and conduct hydraulic analysis for operations and work closely with relevant parties. • Site Assessment: Perform site assessments to identify localised drainage issues and propose improvements and also to ensure feasible implementation of project. • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across various agencies and departments to ensure successful execution of projects. • Any other duties as assigned.

• Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering or equivalent • Possess strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualisation tools. • Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills • Able to work independently and a good team player • Self-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility Applicants will be updated on the status of their application within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
