What the role is

Project Title: A Comparative Analysis: Global best practices in financial education for youths Project Overview: Most people start to make financial decisions when they enter adulthood, and some might find themselves regretting some of these decisions when they get older. It has been increasingly more important for youths to have adequate financial knowledge to build a solid foundation and many jurisdictions have undertaken evidence-based initiatives to equip youths with financial literacy skills. This project requires the intern to research the financial literacy and well-being initiatives for youths in other jurisdictions and synthesise takeaways for Singapore.

What you will be working on

To prepare a report and present the findings covering the following areas: - International scan of financial literacy and well-being initiatives for youths by government and the private and people sectors; - Comparison of international financial literacy programmes with those in Singapore, identifying key differences, similarities and highlighting points that makes each approach effective; and - Recommendations on strategies or initiatives to improve financial education for youths in Singapore.
