You will be part of the team which formulates, reviews and implements policies to develop Singapore’s healthcare financing framework, with a focus on MediShield Life, to keep healthcare affordable and sustainable for all Singaporeans. This role will require you to work collaboratively with policy and clinical groups within MOH, healthcare institutions and other public agencies to develop and implement policies.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will:
• Review and develop policies to ensure that MediShield Life continues to provide adequate protection against large healthcare bills while keeping premiums affordable and sustainable
• Work with partner agencies and stakeholders to enhance public communications of healthcare financing schemes
• Provide secretariat support to the MediShield Life Council and its sub-committees in carrying out their functions
Depending on the team you join, you will either
• Oversee the administration of the MediShield Life scheme, including assessing appeals for subsidies and designing premium recovery and enforcement measures
or
• Oversee the implementation of new or revised policies relating to MediShield Life benefits, including working with stakeholders to enhance claims systems, and assessing appeals for coverage

• Excellent writing, presentation and negotiation skills, experience in public policy formulation and/or scheme administration in the social sector would be an advantage
• Proficient in handling and processing quantitative data on Excel, self-driven, meticulous and detail-oriented
• Experienced candidates may be considered for an Assistant Director position with the team
