What the role is:
The Digital Readiness Cluster (DRC) in IMDA drives digital inclusion efforts as we prepare all Singaporeans for the digital future. DRC oversees Digital Access, Digital Literacy and Wellness programmes, as well as outreach and partnership programmes such as SG Digital Office and the Digital for Life movement.
The Strategy and Planning team takes a long-term strategic view in mapping out digital readiness priorities, and works together with divisions to
Conduct research for new areas of work
Evaluate existing programmes, and
Support governance measures.
The team also supports international initiatives in raising awareness of Singapore’s digital inclusion efforts.
What you will be working on:
Develop long-term strategies and priorities to build a digitally inclusive society
Work with programme teams to evaluate existing programmes, develop action plans to address gaps and opportunities in support of digital readiness
Collaborate with external stakeholders on digital readiness initiatives
Design and implement systems and workflows that facilitate collaboration, corporate KPIs reporting and knowledge management
Support discussions on internal priorities and resource allocation e.g. budget for the programmes
Support outreach events such as our pinnacle Digital for Life Festivals and international platforms to raise awareness of Singapore’s digital inclusion efforts
What we are looking for:
Background in strategic planning, public policy, social sciences, communications, business, or other related disciplines, with minimally 5 years’ experience in strategy and planning roles
Possess strong analytical, strategic and conceptual thinking skills
Comfortable with quantitative, qualitative data and long range forecasting
Strong team player with good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast pace and dynamic environment with some ambiguity
