What the role is
What you will be working on
- Lead strategic communications (SC) campaigns for DIS
- Develop media and publicity plans to support the DIS communications objectives
- Formulate and execute crisis communications plans
- Manage incidents and crises to preserve public trust in the DIS
- Collaborate with internal partners on media collaterals for the DIS channels
- Creatively portray the DIS with interesting angles and visuals
Challenge(s)
- Working in a fast-paced environment with short media cycle deadlines
- Maintaining close coordination with relevant DIS agencies
- Staying abreast of events and news
What we are looking for
- Education in Communications, Psychology, International Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience in public communications, corporate communications, or marketing
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent planning abilities
- Strong public relations and communication skills
