What the role is
What you will be working on
Together with your team, you develop media and publicity plans to support DIS communications objectives and ensure internal stakeholders are informed about DIS updates. In addition, you formulate and execute crisis communications plans to manage incidents and crises, preserving and strengthening public trust and confidence in the DIS. You also collaborate with internal partners to develop media collaterals for DIS media channels. Your challenges lie in working in a fast-paced environment with short media cycle deadlines, maintaining close coordination with relevant DIS agencies, staying abreast of events and news, and creatively portraying the DIS with interesting angles and visuals.
What we are looking for
You must have a tertiary qualification in Communications, Psychology, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related fields, with at least 6 years' relevant work experience in public communications, corporate communications, or marketing. Possession of strong leadership, team management, planning, public relations, and communication skills is preferred.
