The functions of the Social Support Group (SSP) are to:
a) Develop operations policies for and deliver social assistance schemes and programmes, and address system barriers to support lower-income and vulnerable individuals and families;
b) Develop, manage and license MSF-funded social services for lower-income and vulnerable individuals and families; and
c) Develop partnerships with the community and corporates to deliver services and support to lower-income and vulnerable groups.
Description of Division/Branch:
The Service Delivery Division (SD) under SSP delivers services directly to residents and works with partners to uplift lower-income individuals and families, as well as destitute persons.

What the role is
What you will be working on
In the ComLink Operations Branch, you will oversee the implementation of various MSF programmes at the SSOs. You will assist the team in supporting the expansion of the SSO’s ComLink and Regional Services functions, in particular, you will be responsible for the coordination of an initiative – ComLink+. This is a key initiative under the SG Cares Community Networks which aims to provide proactive and integrated help to lower-income families. Through ComLink+, MSF seeks to uplift these families to achieve stability, self-reliance and social mobility.
You will be involved in developing strategies, workflows and processes that will be used for SSO programmes/ComLink+ so as to keep the community, corporates and volunteers engaged. In addition, you will be responsible for developing strategies to cultivate meaningful partnerships between MSF and corporations, foundations, volunteer groups and individuals. You will also assist to ensure that the recruitment, and management of volunteers/partners at the SSOs are implemented smoothly, and administer appropriate recognition schemes/programmes to acknowledge partners and volunteers’ contributions to MSF. You will also be involved to help amplify SSO’s good work to the public through social media.
• You will develop strategies, workflows and processes to ensure alignment and consistency across the SSOs for ComLink+ implementation and operation.
• You will develop strategies to cultivate and sustain meaningful partnerships between MSF and corporations, foundations, volunteer groups and individuals.
• You will plan and coordinate amongst the SSOs to ensure that the recruitment, and management of volunteers/partners are implemented smoothly on the ground.
• You will help to amplify SSO’s good work to the public.
• You will also need to perform any other duties required by the organisation.
What we are looking for
• Tertiary education in the following disciplines would be advantageous - Community Development/ Sociology/ Social Work/ Psychology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work well in a team and fast-paced environment.
• Self-driven and able to multi-task.
• Experience in project management and strong writing skills would be an advantage.
• Keen interest and passionate about helping vulnerable families/individuals and have a keen interest in collaborating with different groups in the people, private, and public sectors to catalyse meaningful partnerships and volunteer opportunities at the SSO.
