As Senior Manager, Manager or Assistant Manager (Office Services) of the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA), you will be involved in the setting up and management of the office services function in the agency.
The CDA is a new government agency that is being established by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to oversee Singapore’s communicable disease preparedness, prevention and control, surveillance, risk assessment and outbreak response. It will consolidate and build on the public health functions under MOH, the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, and the Health Promotion Board.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time for a smooth transition to the CDA.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Your key responsibilities include the following:
• Be involved in the day to day running of CDA’s office operations and the provision of office services to CDA divisions, including managing key facilities-related contracts
• Oversee the relevant vendors to ensure the office facilities are well-maintained
• Propose innovative processes to increase operational efficiency and streamline office processes
• Develop and implement various office service policies and procedures
• Support the implementation of Greengov.sg initiatives for CDA’s offices and ensure CDA complies with the necessary rules, regulations and requirements
• Promote awareness of sustainability in the organisation through the development and implementation of internal communications strategy
• Be involved in the preparation of CDA’s annual sustainability disclosures
• Coordinate business continuity planning and other crisis management matters, including maintaining the business continuity plan and promoting fire safety awareness for the organisation
Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
The jobholder may be activated for duty on weekends and after office hours, as and when the need arises.
What we are looking for
Job Requirements
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in office administration is preferred
• Tertiary qualification in any discipline
• Prior experience in planning and implementing sustainability initiatives and sustainability reporting will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with Government Instruction Manual on Procurement will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Effective stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills to co-create solutions
• Good team player
• Independent and self-driven with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and perform under pressure and tight timelines
