What you will be working on
• Develop procurement strategies to achieve cost-effective results
• Continuously review and improve the policies, processes and systems to enhance governance, results and operational efficiencies in procurement
• Deep dive into spend analytics to identify efficiency opportunities
• Enhance procurement literacy and upkeep procurement competencies of officers conducting procurement in CAAS

What we are looking for
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience in government procurement is advantageous
• Keen interest in governance, processes, systems, analytics and policy development
• Strong thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
• Independent, pro-active, persuasive, impactful & resourceful
• Able to focus on priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment
Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
