What the role is

You will play a key role in the Industry Human Capital (IHC) Division, driving EnterpriseSG’s efforts to grow Singapore enterprises through the development of talent, leadership and manpower strategies and capabilities.

At the PME & Leaders’ department, we believe in enterprise-led talent development efforts so that the talent become catalysts to accelerate the growth of enterprises. Our work entails engaging enterprises to support the development of global-ready and R&D talent, at both the young talent level (fresh grad with less than 3 years of experience) and for their middle management bench strength. Through a deep understanding of their unique challenges, we work with them to co-create solutions through in-house knowledge transfer from P&C, EA, GW or with our external ecosystem partners.

What you will be working on

You will develop a broad perspective and gain deep insights on global human capital trends, national manpower and education policies, and talent and leadership opportunities and challenges faced by companies. You will acquire skills in policy development, programme design and management, problem solving and stakeholder engagement. We love to have data substantiate our proposals, so you will have a chance to run data analysis and hone your data storytelling skills.

What we are looking for


We seek a self-initiated individual who is passionate about supporting local enterprises, and believes that talent (i.e. the people behind the work) is the magic factor that powers continued business growth. Some of current key projects include:

  • The Singapore Global Executive Programme to support high growth enterprises in the grooming of globally savvy young talent. People with experience in talent management (attraction, development, engagement and retention) will be an advantage
  • Develop and manage PME Leadership programmes to increase specific pools of talent shortage, such as talent to drive market expansion, talent for deep tech research, leadership benchstrength such as Industrial Post-graduate Programme, Leadership Development Initiative
  • Employer Branding initiatives to uplift good Singapore enterprises as an employer of choice, such as the annual published Good Company Report 
  • Business Partnering the frontline Industry Clusters to support enterprises’ manpower/talent needs
  • Having industry experience and/or knowledge of Singapore government’s manpower policies and programmes is advantageous, but not necessary.
