What the role is

Provide geotechnical engineering services to the project management office and to plan, manage, implement, and supervise of development projects to realise the greater Sentosa Master Plan.

What you will be working on

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on Master Plan development projects from project inception to handover. • Responsible for geotechnical engineering matters related to the Greater Sentosa Master Plan. • Responsible for project management and coordination throughout the entire project lifecycle. • Develop project briefs, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts. • Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures. • Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures. • Work with the respective project managers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meet specified quality standards. • Demonstrated the ability to work independently and lead project teams. • Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners. • Conduct regular site visit/inspections and to report on quality and progress.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with a major in Geotechnical Engineering. • Minimum of 15 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 7 years of recognised practical experience in geotechnical engineering. • Must have project experience in at least 2 deep underground infrastructure projects. • Registration as a Specialist Professional Engineer in Geotechnical Engineering would be an advantage. • Project Management experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects or infrastructure projects would be an advantage. • Possess strong written and communication skill in English.
