You lead the transformation of MINDEF into a digital-first, data-ready organisation by developing the MINDEF Data Strategy to drive the exploitation of data for policy reviews, operational decision making, and to derive workforce efficiencies.

- Develop and implement the MINDEF Data Strategy - Create and execute data governance and management policies and processes - Implement measurements to assess data maturity and quality across MINDEF/SAF - Partner with digital and data stakeholders to develop data exploitation strategies - Drive the exploitation of data for policy reviews and operational decision making - Derive workforce efficiencies through data utilisation - Unlock the potential of data for various lines of businesses within MINDEF/SAF Challenge(s) - Understanding the fast-moving and evolving digital and data landscape - Balancing short-term gains with long-term shifts in data usage - Effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders - Understanding business needs across various domains within MINDEF/SAF - Sustaining momentum in the transformation journey

- At least 10 years of related working experience and 3 years in a supervisory position - Prior experience in business/digital/data transformation, policy, governance, compliance, strategy and implementation is advantageous - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Effective influencing and stakeholder management skills - Creativity and willingness to advocate new approaches Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
