What the role is

You will help to set strategic mid-term land use policies, prepare detailed local area plans; and guide efforts to bring these plans into reality. Focus will be on optimising and integrating land use, good transportation planning and creating a quality and sustainable built environment. You will be involved in a variety of works such as district master planning for Singapore, and participate in the ongoing master plan review. You will also coordinate and formulate implementation programmes, policies and guidelines to realise these plans.

What we are looking for

• Degree/postgraduate diploma in urban and regional planning, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, sustainable design, civil/environmental engineering, transport planning, real estate, geography or environmental studies. In the alternative, candidates without a degree should possess at least 4 years of relevant experience. • Relevant experience will be useful • Excellent analytical and writing skills • Good presentation and communication skills • Quick learners with a high level of commitment will have an advantage • Ability to work independently as well as in a team is a must
