The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serve as a regulatory and developmental authority for the early childhood sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children’s development below the age of 7, across both kindergartens and child care centres. What the role is
What you will be working on
We are looking for an energetic and self-driven individual to be part of the Subsidy team under the Transformation department in the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). The successful candidate will be involved in the administration of preschool subsidy schemes to support families through affordable and quality preschool education.
You will work closely with preschools and key stakeholders to administer and process applications for infant and child care subsidies, as well as kindergarten fee assistance in a timely manner. You will also play an important role in addressing subsidy-related queries from centres and parents as well as handle appeals. You will have opportunities to be involved in the department’s broader initiatives to develop efficient and effective processes, guidelines and communications to enhance service delivery, as well as ensure proper data and record management.

What we are looking for
Functional/Technical Competencies
- At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in grant administration or similar field will be an added advantage
