What you will be working on

As a Human Resource Career Development Intern, your responsibilities will include: • Career Development Planning: Brainstorm and develop initiatives to enhance career development opportunities for officers • Conduct Market Research: Research and identify relevant resources and courses for different profiles of officers to support career development and enhancement of employee experience • Development of Career Pathway: Support the development of career pathways, including research on industry trends/benchmark, mapping out progression routes, and aligning with organisational structure and needs • Implementation of Career Portals: Support in setting up/enhancing career development portal, including system configuration, and creating user-friendly guides for employee navigation and use • Involvement in various staff engagement initiatives: Plan and coordinate activities and initiatives to engage various groups of staff • Design Collaterals and Communication Materials: Create collaterals and communication/branding materials to support the HR initiatives. In this role, you will: • Gain valuable hands-on experience in career development planning and designing of employee experience initiatives • Develop research skills to identify various resources for different employee profiles • Acquire practical knowledge in enhancing employee experience through targeted initiatives • Learn to create effective communication materials for HR initiatives • Develop an understanding of the public service sector and the critical role of HR in a government agency

What we are looking for

While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team. • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field • A strong interest in career development and employee experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team • Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to take on new challenges Position is on a full-time internship basis from May to Aug 2025.
