What the role is

.You will be part of a dynamic HR team in MOM, under the Business HR Partnership team, and you will play a key role in driving the strategic alignment of HR initiatives with the business objectives of the Ministry.

What you will be working on

• Manage and implement all aspects of HR including manpower planning, performance management, employee relations and change management initiatives that supports business and line management in achieving organisational goals; • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment and selection; • Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities and issues and co-create solutions in support of business goals • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on HR policies and processes, and co-ordinate the resolution of HR policy-related issues. • Conduct job analysis and evaluation for new and existing roles using established job grading methodologies to ensure equity and consistency across departments

What we are looking for

Work Experience and Knowledge • Tertiary qualification with minimum 5 years of HR experience (IHRP certification is a plus) • An understanding of the workings and work processes of the Civil and Public Service, is advantageous; • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills; and • Strong passion for people, open-minded, a desire to serve and lead and commitment to excellence Required Competencies 1) HR Business Partnership The ability to facilitate and develop holistic HR decisions, operations and initiatives based on business priorities, perspectives and desired outcomes, while addressing business units' complex HR queries and challenges with effective solutions, and anticipating potential concerns on HR policies and processes to propose alternative solutions or customisation. 2) Organisation Design The ability to assess and review the organisation structure, job scopes, responsibilities, tasks and competencies to ensure that jobs in the organisation are able to support it in attaining current goals and sustain it for the mid- and long-term, while applying job grading methodologies to ascertain job grades within the organisation structure.
