What the role is
What you will be working on
You will lead a team to identify and account manage innovative start-ups and high growth enterprises to facilitate their growth and expansion. Your role includes working closely with other government agencies and partners (e.g. venture builders, incubators/accelerators and investors) to nurture enterprises and the industry's growth. You are also required to research and analyse local and global trends, and promote the adoption of industry best practices and technologies.
What we are looking for
- Exceptional project organization and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple competing project timelines while ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Analytical, with excellent writing and communication skills.
- Keen sense of business acumen, with strong relationship building skills.
- Able to thrive under pressure, take initiative and work independently, and lead a team.
- Possess a degree in Engineering or Life Sciences.
- Candidates in a leadership/managerial role with two to five years of account management or business development experience. Prior experience in healthtech, digitalisation, or start-up environment is preferred.
- Prior experience in the public service and familiarity with funding policies, and grant administration and management are preferred.
